Telford athletes competed at multiple open competitions to end May 2025, including Jakob Eiben and Jess and Lottie Barrett at the Trafford Medal meeting in Manchester on Monday 26th May and Baron Opoku and Barnaby Rhodes at the Loughborough Open on Wednesday 28th May
Lottie Barrett won all three events as the fastest U11G at the meeting, the 75m, 150m and Long Jump, and Jakob won the U13B Long Jump
In the A final of the Loughborough Open, Barnaby Rhodes beat paralympic World and European gold medallist Felix Streng from Germany, to win in 10.66, equalling his PB of 10.66 and cementing himself as the second fastest U20 sprinter in Shropshire history behind professional sprinter and World Championships silver medallist Rio Mitcham. Barnaby also cam 3rd in the 200m A final
Telford AC senior sprinter Baron Opoku ran a PB of 11.05 to come fifth in the A final, and ran a PB of 22.75 to win the B final of the 200m
